We offer these beautiful Stanley London® solid brass reproductions of a large antique pocket compass.
The polished version is hand polished to a mirror-like shine.
The antique patina compass looks just like a 100-year-old antique.
The antique finish needs no maintenance and can be handled without fingerprints discoloring the brass.
There is a small lever on the side of either compass that
operates a needle lift mechanism to protect the compass bearing.
The compass is 3 inches (7.6 cm) in diameter, 11/16 inch (1.75 cm) thick, and weighs 8.4 ounces (238 grams).
The compass rose is graduated in degrees and has a standard surveyor's 0 - 90 degree scale
from North and South.
This compass can be custom engraved
either directly on the outside or the inside of the lid, or on the back of the compass with
your personalized inscription.

We offer three solid brass pocket compass chains as an option for your compass.
These chains are specially made to be non-magnetic and will not effect the accuracy of your compass.
Each has a clasp on one end that attaches to the fob on the pocket compass, and the other end can be attached to your pocket, belt, or button hole.
There are two different gold plated chains designed to compliment a polished brass pocket compass:
The Gold Plated Light Pocket Compass Chain is 14 3/4 inches (37.5 cm) overall, weighs 0.5 ounces (14 grams), and costs $9.40;
The Gold Plated Heavy Pocket Compass Chain has larger links and is 14 inches (35.5 cm) overall, weighs 1.1 ounces (31 grams), and costs $10.50.
The Antique Brass Heavy Pocket Compass Chain has an antique patina and is designed to compliment the antique finish compass.
The Antique Brass Heavy Pocket Compass Chain is 14 1/2 inches (36.8 cm) overall, weighs 1.0 ounce (28 grams), and costs $9.80.
The solid brass Large Pocket Compass with either a polished brass or antique patina finish sells for only $31.50.
An optional large black velvet draw string bag is available for an additional $2.50.
A leather case is also an option for an additional $15.
We also offer a Large hardwood case which features a handsome hand inlaid compass rose as an option for a display case. Each compass rose is unique and will have slight variations since they will be inlaid using similar hand tools to those used 200 years ago. The Large Hardwood Box with Inlaid Compass Rose is available for an additional $29.50.
